(EEE) viz., Pragya Pandey, Abbas Hussain, Aditya Amboly, Kunal Das & Ravi Aryan as Graduate Engineer Trainee at GSG.

OPJU is honored that Dr Srivastava and Dr Chakrabarti were invited to chair sessions on "Advances in Lubrication Program Management" and “Major Advances in Lubrication Management Program”, respectively at TATA Steel, Jamshedpur.
Dr Srivastava also presented his paper “Wear study of Natural Ceramic-Reinforced Metal Matrix Composites” with a brief presentation on “Centre for Steel Technology and Product Development” being set up at OPJU Campus.
Department of Mechanical Engineering initiated a special course on “Solar Energy Technology” which is to be included in the 7th semester as an elective subject, with an aim to meet the energy demand of steel and Power industries.

Kalyan Phani of Dept. of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering for receiving international travel grant from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India to participate in IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium 2018 to be held at Kobe, Japan during October 22-25, 2018.

Social Empowerment club along with National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a “Dengue Prevention & Awareness Drive” in Tumidhi Village on 12th September, 2018. The drive was initiated by members of NSS & Social Empowerment club along with the First year students.
