School of Management has organized a Webinar on the topic “Explore the Unexplored during Lockdown” for the students of OP Jindal University on 12th April 2020. Industry expert Dr. AjitKar, In Charge Learning and Development, Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), was invited as the guest speaker and Dr. Jayalaxmi Samal, Assistant Professor from School of Management has delivered a talk as an expert from academic.
Dr. Jayalaxmi Samal from School of Management has got an invitation to deliver a talk on a Student Development Program organized by St. Joseph’s PG College, Hyderabad on the topic “Seize the Unseized for a better tomorrow” on 22nd April 2020. 122 MBA students have participated in this program.
Mr. Randeep Sarkar from Oldenburg University, Germany delivered an expert talk on the topic “Importance of Non-Conventional Energy sources”. There were two sessions; the first session was technical discussing the present trends of Non-conventional energy. The second session was an interactive session in which he shared his experiences and gave his view on career opportunities in power sectors in India. It’s a matter of pride that Mr.Ranadeep Sarkar is an OPJU alumnus.
Ensuring that academic and other activity is not obstructed during the ongoing lockdown, the OP Jindal University adopted Online classes and virtual campus drive for the sake of students. It is with this intention OPJU is organizing and conducting virtual campus drives. BYJU the world’s most valuable ed-tech company has conducted virtual campus drives for the University students. The drive has three rounds of interview i.e. one Telephonic and two Video rounds. Mr. Mohit Gosain student of Mechanical 8th semester is recruited with CTC 10 Lacs Per annum.
OP Jindal University had always been keen to adopt new practices of learning and teaching methods to explore new ways of learning during the current scenario. For final and pre-final students, OPJU’s Career development center has started virtual training programs which include Resume preparation, Aptitude and Reasoning practices, Group discussion and Interview preparation with individual attention.
