Campus placement drive of LiDO was organized on 15th February 2020 in which B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, M.Sc students participated. Six students were shortlisted, Ashutosh Patnayak (Civil 8th Sem) selected with CTC- 10 Lacs.
Collabere Vadodra,Gujrat visited university campus on 25th February and organized campus placement. Students from B.Tech, M.Tech,BBA and MBA participated. Selected with initial package of 2.53 Lacs per annum + Incentives.
Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL), Raigarh made visit on 26th and 27th February 2020 for campus placement drive. In this campus drive 55 students from B.Tech & M.Tech. participated out of them 48 were recruited.
Squircle, Hyderabad visited university campus on 28th February and held recruitment event for Computer Science Engineering students. The results are awaited.

During Feb 2020, A team from 3rd Year Civil Engineering Department named as 'Be The Change' participated in the final round of national level competition Chhatra Viswakarma Award 2019 and presented their prepared prototype project “Comparative study of Biodiesel produced from waste cooking oil and petroleum diesel.” before the AICTE expert panel.

Six students of OP Jindal University Raigarh, have been conferred prestigious OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship 2019(OPJEMS-2019). One student from the School of Management and Five students from the School of Engineering are the proud recipient of the reputable OPJEMS-2019.

This year scholarship worth of Rupees 54.26 Lac distributed to 236 meritorious students in recognition of their academic excellence. The Annual Tech-Fest of O.P.Jindal University, Raigarh Technorollix, was held on 18th and 19th February 2020. This annual mega event is one of the largest techno-cultural fest in central India. It was an event every student of OPJU was looking forward to. It was segregated in Technical event and Cultural event.
OP Jindal University organized its 2nd Annual Cultural Fest – Junoon 2020 at OPJU Campus on 20th - 21st February 2020. Junoon 2020 roped in famous Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal on the first day and performance of the three most popular DJs of SUNBURN - OLLY ESSE, ACEAXE and SARTEK on the second day.
