The center provides a sui generis platform that assists in organizing industry oriented workshops and Training Programmes, leadership talks, expert lectures from industries including specialized niche areas for enhancing industry connect. In this regard we have a number of organizations associated with the University that caters the need of stake holders of the center and also help us in establishing laboratories.
Indo Danish Tool Room Jamshedpur (IDTR) - The University is having an association with IDTR to impart manufacturing and training facilities to our students and industry participants in the field of CAD/CAM/CAE covering products like Plastic Injection Mould, Pressure Die Casting Dies, Jigs, Fixture and Gauges, Press Tool for Sheet Metal, Precision Machining, Hard Material Machining, Laser Calibration, Project Management, Product Development and Quality Management Consultancy, Training in Tool Engineering, Machinist, CAD/CAM/CAE & CNC Technology, PLC and VLSI.
CFD & Virtual Reality Institute (CFDVRi) – The association of the University with the organization provides a forum for professional interaction between CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and EVR (Engineering Virtual Reality) experts for solving the industry related projects, consultancy and filing patents in the field of science and technology.
Intel Intelligent Systems Lab – This Laboratory is equipped with Intel Galileo board and the necessary peripherals which can be utilized for training the students and industry participants on Embedded systems and Internet of Things (IOT). The lab has been set to enhance the student’s employability skills in order to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
The CIAC has also been instrumental in forging many MoUs with various Industries and Research and Development Establishments. These MoUs will enable the students to get Internship training, Placement, Industrial Readiness, Professional Competencies and also Soft Skills Development. The industry on other hand will know from academic research about what is going to appear on the horizon and how it must gear up in terms of talent for these emerging trends.
