The Centre for Excellence in Robotics (CER) at O.P. Jindal University, Raigarh, is an umbrella centre, under the aegis of which, all robotics-related activities of the Institute is being conducted and coordinated. The main emphasis of the center is the design and development of intelligent and autonomous robots and work on research problems and innovative projects that extend the state-of-art in robotics.
The Mission of CER is to perform industry oriented research and development on various aspects of Robotics; developing highly skilled manpower for Robotics and automation, providing consultancy to the automation industries, organizing training programs for refreshing and updating knowledge, organizing international conferences on recent trends in robotics.
The vision it is to promote and encourage student activities, research projects, and relevant courses related to this field.

Research on Collaborative robots for hazardous places.

CER at O.P. Jindal University conducted a Two-Days Interactive National Level Workshop on “ARDUBOTICS ROBOTICS” from 16th to 17th February 2023 in association with Institution’s Innovation Council & SAE OPJU Collegiate Club, OPJU.
OP Jindal University student team has participated under the flagship of "Centre of excellence in Robotics" in association with Mechanical OPJU in the national level annual Techfest event Technex'23(84th edition of Asia's oldest Techno-Management fest) at IIT-BHU, Varanasi, and successfully competed and won First Prize among 50+ teams across the country in robotics competitions at IIT-BHU. Our students have been awarded first prize cash of Ten thousand rupees(10K) and excellence certificates.
CER at O.P. Jindal University conducted a Three-Days Interactive National Level workshop cum hands-on-training drone Technology during 21st to 23rd June 2023 in association with institution innovation council, OPJU.
