Rules during the Examination


Before the Exam:

Students must arrive 10 minutes before the start of the examination, and check the seating plan, posted outside the examination venue and Examination Notice board. If a student’s roll no. does not appear in the seating plan, he/she should immediately proceed to the Examinations Office (G 26).

Students are required to sit at the desk where their Roll Nos. are displayed and keep his/her Admit cards out. If the student does not have their Admit card, he/she is requested to report to the Exam Section.

No student will be allowed to seat and write on examination without an ADMIT card.

Students cannot enter the examination venue 10 minutes after the commencement of an examination, or leave 10 minutes before the end of the examination. If the student is delayed to the examination venue, he/she must first report to the Examination Office, where he/she will be allowed to proceed to the examination venue only on extenuating circumstances. No extra time will be allowed under any circumstances.

Inside the Exam Hall:

Students must not carry any handwritten, printing material, mobile, smartwatch, mp3 players, or other technological gadget with them failing which will be observed as a UFM case. Students must avoid writing on their palms, calculator and desk to escape from UFM.

Calculators are allowed where the examination specifies.

Strict action (UFM or Debarred from appearing in Exam as per the attachment) will be taken against a student if he/she is found with a prohibited device as per the Ordinance/Regulation of O.P. Jindal University.

Note:

  • The Return of Electronic gadgets will be based on the decision of the UFM Committee.
  • This is applicable for MID and END Semester Examination.
