The Department of Chemistry, School of Science organized an Expert Talk on “Importance of Water Chemistry in a Thermal Power Plant” on February 6, 2026 for the students of School of Science. The session was delivered by Dr. Anupma Gautam, Faculty and Manager at Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT), Tamnar. Dr. Gautam provided an in-depth analysis of the crucial role of water chemistry in thermal power plant operations. The talk emphasized the significance of maintaining optimal water quality parameters to ensure operational efficiency, equipment longevity, corrosion control, scaling prevention, and environmental compliance.
