Overview

Professional education received the prime importance after India set its journey of globalization. The demand for competitive performance built further pressure on various sectors to introduce executive education programs. Pandemic situations also seconded this movement to pursue virtual and online studies than in the regular modes. Barring a few, industries also preferred to groom their executives in sync with their profession. Thus, contexts of shifting choices, slowly transformed to one of the forced requirements.

OP Jindal University (OPJU) introduced its two-years online Executive MBA program run by the School of Management (SoM). In addition to the core courses, an executive enrolled in this program, enjoys the freedom of selecting a specialization to meet his functional responsibilities and interests in the organization. The features of Executive MBA like summer internship program, mini-dissertation, case-studies, and field-projects boosts the industry, institute and the professionals in a mutually energizing win-win manner. The program aims at sharpening all kinds of managerial knowledge, skills and techniques of the executives who transform themselves for bigger roles.

Eligibility

  • 3 Years Working Experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • Desirable: A valid score card of CAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ OPJUET.

Admission Process

  • Apply (Online/Offline) for the programs at OPJU School of Engineering, School of Management, School of Science.
  • Application should be accompanied by non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000 for Diploma, Undergraduate Program, Postgraduate Program and Rs. 2,000 for Doctoral Program payable online (Internet Banking/ Credit/ Debit card) or DD/ Bank Transfer / UPI.
  • A merit list will be announced for eligible candidates for each round. The shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for counselling. Subject to fulfillment of requisite conditions, eligibility and verification of documents, a provisional admission offer letter will be issued. The candidate is required to deposit the fee within the stipulated date.
  • One Time Deposit (OTD) Rs. 15,000 needs to be paid (All Courses) within the stipulated time mentioned in the offer letter. The OTD shall be adjusted towards enrollment fee on confirmation of admission and in case of admission cancellation by the student, OTD will be non-refundable.
  • If the candidate doesn’t pay the full fee by the stipulated date, the admission would be deemed cancelled and the seat will become vacant for the next round of counselling.
  • There will be three rounds of counselling and after that, if there are any unfilled seats, they will be filled on the basis of rolling counselling (First come first serve basis).
  • The university reserves the right to cancel admission at any stage of the admissions process without any notice if the student doesn’t meet the minimum eligibility criteria for a particular program.
